When people were learning to run you made me fly. I could see everything out of motion relatively (Thanks Inertia!). It was just you and me, over took all those hurdles without panicking or knocking down anyone. You were a complete believer in non-violence ...who went ahead amidst heavily crowded places so quietly and swiftly that I could saw those envious looks on riders. We conquered all the narrowest gallis and galliyarras to reach destination on time (Just on time ) Made a lazy guy like me appear punctual to others :), may be coz I was your destined rider :P. as you were the “Engine of my life”.
I visited your place couple of times just to see your charming looks before you were completely mine. Convinced dad that I could ride, but this was far from truth and you were my first date ever! Dad sold his lovely scooter (Hamara Bajaj) very close to his heart, there was lot of pain in fulfilling a son’s wish.. i could see in those eyes. I was hell nervous to take you home for the first time, but we got together really well in a short span of time.
And time just flied past with you I completed my Engineering degree know all your mechanics. Our hearts pumped equally on those nervous exam days, we accelerated in pain and joy, cruising with friends with all those long trips, gave me indicator when I was confused about a new way, probably that was just your way to show the town. I still remember the day when police were chasing us... you decided to stop to teach me honesty and it still pays rather than paying fines/bribes to all those policemen/mama’s (I hate them :P). We always respected the pedestrians and earned a greater respect when they smiled back and said thank YOU, such was your charisma. Never allowed me to put my foot dirty waters, however slowed down you had to be with all your patience. We danced between the rain drops on the highways and those rides after getting high were most memorable, we accelerated to best limits, harmless to everyone….maybe you always knew what was inside me :P.
After my last ride (30/03/2011) I remember how I every time jumped on you like a monkey and we floated like a bird. Today I step on ground and walk back like a humane with all pleasurable and astounding memories. I will miss you forever.
P.S :This note is in memory of my first bike (Yamaha)
